Immer wieder sucht er nach neuen Mitteln und Wegen, um seinen sich ständig weiter entwickelnden Sound zu beeinflussen. Diese Album ist ein klarer Beweis dafür: indem Tocadisco seine eigene Radio Show 'Toca 128.0 FM' entwickelt, erweitert es die Grenzen eines normalen Künstler Albums. Romans fünfzigminütiger Reise führt von soliden Tech-house über heißesten Elektro Sound bis zu gepflegtem Vocals House Hits. Seine ganzen Klassiker lässt er im Intro zu einem Epos verschmelzen, mit dem er seine Reise beginnt. Von da geht es weiter zur ersten Singles des Albums 'Da Fuckin' Noize' und über 'Senator' weiter zu den sexy Vocals von JD Davis im Stück 'Breakdown'. Ein weiterer Spitzentrack ist 'Dr Moog': hier wird ein Interview mit dem genialen Schöpfer des legendären Moog Synthesizers verarbeitet. Das Interview wurde mit einer rollenden Bassline unterlegt, was diese eigenartige Nummer zu einem absoluten Leckerbissen macht. Auf halben Wege, nachdem man mit einige Partykracher richtig wachgerüttelt wurde, folgt mit 'Way Of Love' eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Russischen Sänger Vangosh das Juwel der 128.0FM Station. Vangosh ist der letzte Gastsänger dieser Reise, die mit zwei Latin-House Nummern am Ende richtig abgerundet wird. Insgesamt übertrifft Tocadisco auf seiner Reise alle Erwartungen. Das Experiment is mehr als gelungen und das Ergebnis modernste Dance-Musik auf höchstem Level. Sei dabei, schalte ein: 128.0 FM! The Best Radio Station You’ll Ever Hear - Breaking the mould is one thing that Roman Böer, aka. Tocadisco does best. Always looking for new ways and means to influence his ever-evolving sound. This new album is as good an example as you’ll ever get; pushing the boundaries of an artist long-player by creating his own self-styled radio show – “Toca 128.0FM”.Throughout Roman’s 50 minute journey he takes you through dark tech-house, scorching electro sounds and well-groomed vocal masterpieces. All forged together into a flowing and well-crafted listen that will leave you begging for more. The title track forms a sublime intro/interlude that reminds you of the magnitude of the artist behind this album – melding together classic hits into an epic beginning to this sonic journey. From there it’s straight into the first single from the album “Da Fuckin’ Noize” moving through to “Senator” and then onto the sultry vocals of JD Davis in “Breakdown”. A standout track is that of “Dr. Moog” which rolls together an original interview with Dr. Robert Moog – the creator of the legendary Moog Synthesizer. The interview is laced over a deep rumbling bass line, taking the track to stratospheric proportions. A quirky number that goes down an absolute treat! Half way through and you’re served with a serious dose of some tech-house firestarters and then what can only be deemed as jewel in 128.FM – “Better Run”, featuring the beautiful vocals of Nadia Ali, setting what surely is the calm before the storm. “Way Of Love” featuring Russian sensations ‘Vangosh’ provides the final vocal moment of the album before it is rounded off by a Latin-American theme for the last two tracks. Overall Tocadisco has surpassed all expectations, throwing something different into the mix and reaping the benefits as a result. Upfront dance music at its finest! Make sure you tune in!
